@maipai101 the most pure AFRICANS are not DARK SKINNED the original people of Africa were the SAN peoples also known as the BUSHMEN and they are not darkskinned...they are/were a REDDISH-BROWN or yellowish brown...so people who resemble the so-called "Mixed-look" are actually the PUREST PEOPLE OF AFRICAN DESCENT!...The East Africans are also close to how the original man and woman are suppose to look...so yes Beyonce is a true Black american of African Descent...

@maipai101 you don't make any sense...first you are condoning black girls with west african features with short nappy hair and flairing nostrils...trying to look more white with blonde weaves and wigs and blue/green contacts...then you are mad that the west african features with dark skin is not being represented in the media...which is it...if Black females who look like you don't love themselves as they are...nobody else is going to love you...its as simple as that...

I have read comments about beyonce saying that she wishses she was latina. One person said that blacks always claim to be mixed with something else other than black. First off let me say that there are very few pure African-Americans. Most do have something else along the line. I have French and Indian in me. Choctaw. You can't tell though. But I don't go around saying it either. I just say I am an African-American.

No need to debate a lot..i think most of african american(80 percent mayb)n carrabeans aint black at all..THEY R still Mixed even tho it dun show at times.

Beyonce is inter-generationally mixed just because bi-racial is considered black it does not change the fact that you still have white in you.
