July 29, 2003 and we're on the southbound side of the NEC. In addition to AEMs, Acela, and an HHP leading the Silver Meteor, there are some Silverliner 1's, which are scheduled for retirement in the next few years, but it looks as if they'll stick around as SEPTA needs the capacity. Several of the commuter trains are MU'd single cars, kind of unusual since so many are paired. Listen for the SEPTA engineer asking if I'm going to put his picture in Railpace.....
