Bloomington North defeated cross-town rival Bloomington South in boys soccer 3-2 in the rain at Karst Farm Park Thursday, September 4th. South's Greg Efiom began the scoring with a goal on an assist from Sean Baily at the 59-minute mark. Four minutes later North's Jarrett Baughman headed in a Sam Swihart pass to tie the game. Patrick Kalua put North ahead 2-1 at the 70th minute but South came right back less than two minutes later with another goal by Greg Efiom on an assist by Alex Forney. North got the winning goal from Patrick Chiela with about a minute left in the game when he headed in a long pass from Reilly Taylor.
