Why YOU have Worth... and other Joys of Recovery

I'm still riding the rollercoaster of recovery...and i'm excited!!!! "Yeah, right" you may say... "Whatever!" My word has merit, however, due to the infinite ups and downs I've endured on this ride.... ....TRYING DESPERATELY to reach this so-called "recovery"! Listen closely my darlings, for my words are great cause for celebration... ...for the FIRST TIME I caught a glimpse of pure joy! As the rollercoaster peaked on the highest hill, the excitement was not just an anticipation, but a REAL feeling!!!! A feeling of success, and peace of mind, and a clarity of thought I've never experienced. It was gone before it started, but I KNOW WHAT I FELT!!!! For the FIRST time in my life I TRULY believed the 'myth' of recovery was NOT a myth at all... Recovery, to me, was a 'vague' idea of idealism mixed with a lot of self love and family forgiveness :D And I will admit, part of me doubted if Recovery existed at all. I will tell you, however, that the second of happiness I felt, the feeling of TRULY enjoying my life, is worth fighting tooth and nail for. We all deserve the best this life has to offer. God bless my darlings!
