Abbey: All right then, lets get to know each other so I don’t have to worry about him (smiles at Katie) Katie: (smiles back at Abbey and seems more at ease now) Really? Abbey: Yeah (laughs)! They begin talking and getting to know each other, finish their food, and decide to go ice-skating. They get there and get the skates on and walk out on to the ice. Abbey: (notices Katie looks a little uneasy) What’s the matter? Have you never skated before? Katie: No, this is my first time. Abbey: Well, you’ll be fine, don’t worry; you’ll get the hang of it in no time I’m sure! Beside, you’re more graceful than Joe, which doesn’t take much and if he can do it, I know you can (they both laugh)! So Abbey and Katie ice-skated the rest of the afternoon. While the girls had been hanging out, the guys had been doing guy stuff and were now headed back to meet the girls for supper as planned. They all arrived back at the Jonas’s house about the same time. Joe: Hey ladies, how was your day? Katie: Awesome!!! I know why she’s your best friend, she’s so much fun and she’s really sweet!!! (smiles at Abbey and Joe) Abbey: Yeah, today was a blast we had an awesome time hanging out getting to know each other. Joe: Well that’s good to hear (smiles at them)! Abbey: So how was your day guys? Joe: Not bad, it was nice to have a day of hanging out with my brothers. Kevin: Yeah, we really had a great day! Nick: Yeah, it was awesome but I got a little bit sun burnt. Abbey: What all did you guys do? Kevin: Guy stuff ya know. Katie: Like what? Nick: We played paintball. Joe: Ate lunch Kevin: Went surfing Joe: And we played tennis. So now that we’re all here, can we please go eat, I’m starving! They all laugh at Joe and leave to go get supper. Ashley, Nicole, and Madie were all waiting for them at the restaurant. They ordered and talked about the fun that each of them had had that day. After supper, they all headed back home and played rock band. This time Katie played, she was on a team with Joe and Abbey. Kevin, Ashley, Madie, and Nick were all on the other team and again, Kevin’s team won! It was late so Abbey and Madie said their goodbyes and went home. Abbey and Madie stayed up for a while and told each other about their day and finally decided to go to bed around 1:30am. As Abbey lay there in her bed trying to fall asleep, she kept thinking about her day and how she had fun with Katie and now didn’t think she was so bad. She was still hurting though because she still loved Joe and even though she liked Katie, she still wished it was her with Joe instead of Katie. But then again, she was glad that if Joe had to be with someone other than herself, it was with a nice girl like Katie that she actually liked and was friends with. She shed a few tears thinking about all this but then finally was able to just lay there and fall asleep. The next day, Abbey had had time to talk to her parents about going with Nicole to Germany to visit her relatives and her parents told her it was ok if she went which really excited her! She immediately ran to get her cell phone and called Nicole. On The Phone with Abbey and Nicole: Nicole: Hey Abbey what’s up? Abbey: Guess what?!?! Nicole: What? Abbey: (in a really excited almost high pitched voice)My parents are going to let me go with you to Germany!!! Nicole: (Screams) Are you serious?!?!?!?!! Abbey: No Nicole, I’m lying to you…of course I’m serious!!! Nicole: This is so awesome!! We’re going to have a blast!! The two of us plus my cousins that I can’t wait to introduce you to!! Germany will never be the same (they both laugh in excitement)!! Abbey: So what kind of stuff do I need to bring? Just my clothes and necessary stuff like that? Nicole: Yeah, as far as I know. If there’s something else you need to bring, I’ll let you know before we leave! Abbey: I’m so excited about this!! I’ve never been to Germany and I get to be with one of my best friends the first time I go!! Nicole: I know right!!! (they both laugh and scream again) Abbey: Ok, well I should probably go take a shower now (laughs)! Nicole: Ok Abbey! I will see ya later!! Byes! Abbey: Bye! (hangs up the phone and goes to take a shower) --------------- So I know this wasn't a very good chapter but I'm working on the good ones to get them up for ya!! So please subscribe!! :)
