Lovebug: A Jonas Story Chapter 46 Part 2 Aunt Sandy walks up. Sandy: Now look at these darling couples. They all grin, Callie with her arms wrapped around Joe's waist, and Kevin embracing Bailey. Sandy: Now why isn't little Nicky making a move? Joe: (laughing) Got me. Sandy: NICKY! Nick: (to Rhiley) Just a sec. Sorry. I'll be back. Rhiley: (grabbing his hand) I'll come with you. Nick grins Sandy: Awww. my 3 favorite nephews have girlfriends! Let's take a picture! As they get someone to take the picture, Sandy whispers, in her usual not such a whisper way, to Nick. Sandy: Kiss her. (in a demanding auntish way) Nick tries to ignore her. Sandy: Don't let her get away. Rhiley overhears and is trying to hold back laughter. Sandy intentionally bumps Nick and he bumps into Rhiley causing her to bump into a waiter. The appetizers fly everywhere, as Rhiley falls, with Nick close behind her, falling on top of her. Sandy just giggles a little laughs and walks to Kevin, Joe, Bailey and Callie. Callie:(whispering to Joe) Is she always this intense? Joe: Pretty much. (laughing) Kevin: Little revved up today Aunt Sandy? Joe gestures like shes been drinking too much and they all crack up. meanwhile, Nick and Rhiley are still on the floor. Rhiley: smooth Nickel. Nick: Sorry. Rhiley: (she laughs) you're such a klutz. Nick: (laughs) Oh me? look at you you've got food all over you! Rhiley: Only because you bumped into me! Nick: (laughs at her and starts picking the food out of her hair and off of her) I just don't see why you had to go and fall. Rhiley: I just don't see why you had to go and bump into me? Nick: (getting caught up in the moment) Well it didn't get me in such a bad place. (still fallen on her) Rhiley blushes and looks at him. Sandy is smiling from the opposite side of the room. Nick's face is inches from hers when a waiter comes over to clean up the food. Rhiley: Sorry about that. (talking to the waiter) Nick's face gets disappointed. The waiter had ruined another moment. Waiter: It's alright miss. Rhiley goes to get up and Nick jumps up grabbing her hand to pull her up. Rhiley; Thanks. Bailey: I'm going to go to the restroom. Callie: Same. Rhiley? (in demanding voice) Rhiley: Oookay yeah I'll come too. As she walks off, Nick just stares at her. Joe: (slaps him upside the head) Could you be more obvious? Mr. I have a girlfriend called Nicole. Nick (jumps with a start): Dude! (reacting off the slap) and Aunt Sandy pushed me into her. Joe: Oh that too but I'm talking about your little puppy dog eyes when you look at her. Nick: Shutup. okay? Kevin: Yeah Nick what's up? I thought you and Nicole were like.. Nick: We are. I was supposed to pretend to be with Rhiley tonight because of good ol' Aunty. Kevin: I just hope she knows that cus.. Nick: She knows. well Rhiley. Kevin: Not Nicole? Nick: No. Joe: I swear you are such a freak. *In the restroom, the girls chatting by the mirrors, checking their hair. Callie: Okay so what was going on tonight Rhi? Rhiley: What? nothing. Bailey: Nick. Rhiley: I was supposed to pretend to be his girlfriend. Callie: I know. but he didn't have to like fall on you! Rhiley: He got bumped. Bailey: Maybe but he didn't have to lay there for like 5 minutes! Rhiley: Okay one, it wasn't 5 minutes. and two.. Callie: There is no two. Rhiley rolls her eyes. Callie: I just want to slap you upside the head! HE LIKES YOU. Bailey: Could you be a little louder Cal? Rhiley: HE'S GOING OUT WITH NICOLE. Callie: Doesn't mean he doesn't like YOU. Rhiley: Umm yeah usually when a guy goes out with another girl. it means he doesn't like you. Bailey: Not always. Rhiley: Okay guys! I'm sick of this. every time we go anywhere it turns into this! It's not happening. It's not gonna happen! They walk out of the restroom. Calle: (under her breath but loud enough) Only because you're too chicken to actually see what could happen with him.
