Lovebug: A Jonas Story Chapter 18 Part 2 -Still in Rhiley's room with Nick. Rhiley:(hearing the radio quietly) Oh my gosh! I love this song! (She turns it up to hear "Kelsey" by Metro Station playing.) Nick laughs and grabs Popstar magazine off her desk. Nick: You read these? Rhiley: Yeah. Nick:(laughs) Me too. She laughs. Nick: Oh man now they are saying I'm dating Selena Gomez. Rhiley: By your reaction, I assume you're not. Nick: No I'm not. We are just good friends. Rhiley: They get that stuff wrong a lot don't they? Nick: You got that right. Rhiley: Speaking of.. are you into a girl right now? Nick: I don't know. Rhiley: You don't know, like you have no clue, you don't want to talk about it, or you honestly just don't know if you like this girl or not? Nick: Answers A and C. Rhiley:(laughing) Is that your final answer? Nick:(laughs) I just don't know if I like her, well I like her, but I mean really like her. I just have these mixed feelings, and really if she would want to even date me. Rhiley: Oh come on. Any girl would be crazy not to want to date you. You're sweet, talented, thoughtful, smart, hilarious, and not to mention pretty darn good looking. Nick: Aww shucks. (laughs a little) thanks Rhiles. Rhiley: Don't thank me. Thank God. He gave you those qualities. Nick: (laughing) Will do. Rhiley: I can't believe I actually start school tomorrow! Nick: I know I'm gonna miss yeah. Rhiley: I know! Well I mean not I know that you'll miss me, but I know I'll miss you. Like that sounded really bad, like I knew you.. Nick: I know what you meant. (smiles at her) Rhiley:(smiles back) Well, OH my Gosh! What am I gonna wear? Nick: tomorrow? Rhiley: Yeah i have nothing. Nick: Why you lookin at me? Rhiley: Help me please? Nick: Help you? Rhiley: Yeah help me pick out what to wear! Nick: Do I look like a girl to you? Rhiley:(laughs) No Nick! But you have great style obviously. so.. come on. Nick:(groan) Fine. Rhiley: (laughs and drags him to her closet.) Alright. cool. Nick: You expect me to pick out of all these? Rhiley: I'll try some on. Nick: Ok yeah that would help. I'll just tell yeah if I think it looks good, k? Rhiley: k. (She starts to pull her shirt up) Nick: What are you doing?! Rhiley: What? I have a tank top on under it. Nick: Oh. Rhiley: AWKWARD. (laughs) Nick:(laughs) Yeaaaah. She tries on tons of shirts and jackets. an hour later. Nick: Rhiles I told you they all look good. Rhiley: You are no help. Nick: Whaa? Rhiley: Just kiddin. Alright I'm trying on one more outfit then I'm done. Nick: Thank you! Rhiley: Shutup. I'll be right back. Rhiley comes back in the room, wearing skinny jeans and gray boots,a green top with a black vest, and a light scarf. She had pulled her out of it's ponytail, and it lay in relaxed curls. Nick: (staring at her) Ummm. yeaah that's fine. Rhiley: Fine Nick?! ahh dang. (She starts to take off the scarf.) Nick: No No! Okay it looks great. You..You look great. Rhiley: You're not just saying that cus this is the last one!? Nick: No you look...really pretty. You should wear that. Rhiley: Ok I will! Thanks Nick. (she runs over and gives him a hug and runs to go change) Nick's point of view: Why was I so amazed? I mean I saw her everyday. She's my best friend. For the first time, since that night when I first me her, I thought I felt something for her. I couldn't even get my words out to tell her how great she looked. Why did I even think she looked great? I think it was her eyes, they were so green. I had never thought these feelings, and I was confused. No no I don't like her, I just think she looks pretty. Friends think that too. Yeah, don't be stupid, she's your best friend. that's it. She interrupted my thoughts when she came running back into the room.) Rhiley: Wanna go to the movies? Nick: School starts tomorrow though? Rhiley: Yeah more the reason to go. Nick: Yeah but don't you want to hang out with someone else. I mean you've spent practically the whole summer with me. Rhiley: No I want to be with you. (grabs his hand and pulls him off her bed) Nick: (laughs) Alright. Glad to hear it. She smiles widely. Nick: You know, you have a beautiful smile. Rhiley: Thanks. Nick: Don't thank me. Thank God. He gave you that quality. They both laugh. and she shakes her head. Nick: You said it. (laughing) next chapter soon. hopefully :) hope u liked it.
