Where is she? Chapter 13 Anna - Nick? (almost in tears of Joy) Nick - Anna... I can't see you? Where are you? Anna - Nick, I'm right here (She grabs his hand) Open your eyes. Nick doesn't open them. Anna - Nick say something Nick doesn't say anything. They arrived at the hospital. Nick was put in a room right away. They laid him down on the bed as he rested. Joe, Kevin, Frankie, Denise and Kevin Sr. arrived just a few minutes after Nick was placed on the bed. Mrs Jonas rushed to the desk and asked where her son was. As soon as she got all the information she wanted, the whole family rushed to Nick's room, only to see Anna crying on Nick's chest. Anna (Runs up to Denise) - Why is he here? Why did this happen to him? Denise - I don't know sweet heart, but I'm sure he's going to be ok. Anna - I hope so. Joe - umm.. I'm sorry Anna but can I just get some alone time with Nick? I want to say some stuff... Anna (leaves) Joe - umm... guys... that means you too! Kevin - Right, sorry, let's go mom, dad... You too Frankie. Frankie - aww man! I wanted to see his scabs! Kevin Sr. - What did you say? Frankie - nothing... Kevin Sr. - That's what I thought. (everyone left the room) Joe - Nick, are you ok? Nick (silent) Joe - Please, come on man, speak to me. I know I don't say it a lot but I love you. You're my little brother and I don't want to see you like this. Please... (takes Nick's hand)... I just... please... Nick (opens his eyes and turns to Joe's head) - Joe? Joe - Oh my God Nick! (hugs him really hard) Nick - I love you too big bro! Joe - Shut up I never said that! Nick - Yeah you did! (Sticks his tongue out at him) Joe - Fine, I did say it... but don't say anything to anyone! Nick - Ok... (laughs) Joe - Well, I think everyone else wants to see you now, including your little girlfriend! (laughs in a teasing way) Nick - What girlfriend? Joe - aww... it's ok Nick, your still as shy as you always were. You don't want to admit it but you KNOW you have one. Nick - No, I really don't. Joe - Did you and Anna break up? Nick - Who's Anna? Joe (gets serious) - Nick... Anna... your best friend who you took out on a date?! Nick - I'm sorry I don't remember.
