Life Happened-Chapter 31

[AN:Well aren't you lucky. Haha. Two in one night. I'm going to be busy this weekend, so I don't know when the next will be up.] Chapter 31- Lindsey fiercely pushed the door open, dragging Ali by her arms. Lindsey's long legs carried her far in one step, so by the time they got to the bathroom, Ali was running. Lindsey pulled her inside and finally let go of her arm. "What the hell are we doing here?", Lindsey said. Ali shrugged her shoulders. She turned to the mirror and played with her hair. "Aren't you even the least bit uncomfortable or am I being paranoid. Ali turned towards Lindsey. "You need to chill. You don't even have to talk to Kevin, you don't even have to look at Kevin. Just think of it as doing something fun. Plus, we love their music, just enjoy the concert. Me and you can ignore Kevin and Joe together", Ali said. Lindsey took a deep breath. Ali turned back towards the mirror and continued playing with her hair. Lindsey relaxed a bit and turned to play with hers too. The door the bathroom opened and the two of them turned around. A head of curly brown hair was standing in the doorway. Lindsey looked to Ali, who felt as though a sense of déjà vu was coming over her. Where had she seen this seen before. Oh right, last time Nick apologized and they got back together was in a bathroom. She sighed and looked over to him. "You lost. The sign on the door says women?", Ali asked and turned back towards the mirror. Nick smiled. "I was actually hoping I could talk to you", Nick said. Ali sighed. She turned towards him. "What's up?", She asked. Trying to be the bigger person were the only words that ran through her head. She could talk to him, as long as it was possible to ignore him for the rest of the day. "Um, alone?", Nick said. He looked over at Lindsey who was still playing with her hair and makeup. She looked over at Ali, who just shrugged her shoulders. Lindsey turned on her heel making her way back towards the green room. She was outside the door when Rachael came running out and stopping her from going inside. "You don't want to go in there", Rachael said. Lindsey's facial expression became confused. "Sis, I already know Kevin is in there. I'm an expert at ignoring people", Lindsey said carefully shoving Rachael aside. "Yeah, but you", Rachael said as Lindsey opened the door. She paused as she saw Kevin wrapped in a tight hug from the girl he met at the pool party they all went to. "don't know who is with him", she continued whispering to herself. Lindsey looked down at her with a sad face. She took a deep breath and smiled facing the rest of the group. Sam who's legs were draped over Joe had a worried look on her face. Lindsey reassured and walked to the other side of the room and sat in a chair next to Frankie and Michelle, who were playing games with all of Frankie's toys. Lindsey kept her eyes on Michelle and Frankie trying her hardest not to let her eyes wander around the room. The room was silent for about a minute and a half after Lindsey took her seat. Sam cleared her voice to try and break the silence. "So, where are Nick and Ali?", Sam called across the room. Lindsey looked up avoiding eye contact with anyone other then Sam. She was not going to be made into the jealous ex today. "They are talking in the bathroom. I don't know what it is about them and bathrooms", Lindsey smiling. Sam laughed. "Yeah, those two in a bathroom alone can either be fantastic or not so good. I guess we will have to find out", Sam said. She had learned not to get involved in her sisters relationships. She looked back towards Joe, who's head was resting on the back of the couch. She played with his hair, running her fingers through it. She watched as a smiled crept across his face. Lindsey watched also. She wanted this more then ever. She scanned the room, to find Kevin looking at her. Their eyes met for a split second, but that was it. She quickly looked away, her gaze falling back on Michelle and Frankie.
