Madonna-I'll remember

Back

"I'll Remember" is the theme song to the 1994 film With Honors, performed by American pop singer Madonna. The song was released as a single in March of 1994. It was released a year later on Madonna's 1995 ballads compilation, Something to Remember. The song became a big hit in the U.S. where it peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for four weeks, being blocked from top spot by All-4-One's "I Swear". The song did reach #1 on the adult contemporary chart, however, becoming Madonna's fourth #1 on this chart (following "Live To Tell", "La Isla Bonita", and "Cherish"). "I'll Remember" remained atop the adult contemporary chart for four weeks in 1994. This song was released to coincide with VHS release of The Girlie Show - Live Down Under and the book to accompany the tour video. The music video for the song was quite similar to the "Rain" video. Madonna is in the studio singing the song with back up singers and clips of the film With Honors are shown. Also, Madonna has short black hair in the video, similar to the hairstyle of the "Rain" video, apart from the fact that in this video the hair is real and not a wig. The video was shot in January 1994 at the Chaplin Soundstage in Hollywood, California.
