FRANCE, Paris : Trendy places to sleep in the capital over the summer holidays: A town house hidden in the heights of Montmartre SYNTHE - Morgane Rousseau, Founder and Manager of Hôtel Particulier DOPESHEET A house with four floors, hidden by an immense iron gate in the depths of a dead end alley, not far from Montmartre, has been transformed into a very particular hotel with five luxurious suites decorated in extravagance and comfort by Morgane Rousseau. The mistress of the house has also appealed to numerous artists to make this place both homely and magical. INTERVIEW with Morgane Rousseau, Founder and Manager of Hôtel Particulier : ''We chose to only do a few rooms so that we could just do suites, to favour space rather than little confined rooms. And with the artists who collaborated on this project, we really worked on it in the sense that we thought first and foremost about the comfort of the room, of the traveller. For me, when I think of comfort I think of the quality of the materials used, that each curtain is pure wool, that everything is really good quality like this bedspread in silk, everything was done with a desire for beauty and high-quality. In creating this type of hotel it is clear that I wanted people to be receptive to this type of place, and therefore we receive lots of writers, lots of people involved in art, cinema, people who are sensitive to this style of place. The calmness was very important and the fact that it is a bit hidden, that it's not written hotel outside, we are in a sort of secret passage which is a little bit mysterious and this way it is not open to everyone because the focus was not at all to have a big public, it was much more for the quality of the clients.''
