What kind of bird is cute, puffy, and can't fly? If by you're using the word "Bird" as slang for "Aircraft", the answer is the DuPont DP-2. This insult to modern avionics older than I am, but to date it hasn't managed to actually FLY, despite many attempts. Not only that, but LOTS of people all agree it's not even worth trying; - Aeronautical Engineers say it can't fly - Pilots say it can't fly - Research organizations say it can't fly - The US military says it can't fly Yet, Congress funds the un-flyable DP-2 TO THIS VERY DAY.
